After students finish putting hot wax on their batik pattern. They can continue their work in this area, where students can paint their batik pattern with a brush. They can choose a wide range of colors to they’re liking and imagination.
This view showcases the ambience and activities when the market is happening. Students will perform on the stage, sell food at the food stall, and sell their work also at the special design structure to attract and gain more buyers.

Project Introduction
An after-school hub where the participant is a student from schools near the site. The academy's main objectives are to enhance student’s creativity, knowledge, and life skills, to gain real work experience and foster student nationalism inside their soul. Here students will be the one deciding on what they want to assimilate, what they want to make, and when they want to learn. It’s all managed by the students; the academy only acts as a place that has all the resources that students need. The goal of this project is to create a young generation who are ready to venture their future independently, as what they learn in the academy could be the foundation of it.
Perspective
KINETIC CANOPY
This is a multifunction kinetic canopy structure. There’s total of 5 structures and each of them is named as 5 big islands in Indonesia: Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. The design itself is purposely for students to do many things here, from chilling and playing with their friends, learning together, until being used as part of the market. The canopy itself could be opened or closed by a machine hidden within the bamboo structure. From outside on the sidewalk people can only see the canopy itself moving, and it can make people more curious about this academy and want to know more and join the academy.
