Project Introduction

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur before a child reaches the age of 18. Such experiences can interfere with a person’s health, opportunities and stability throughout his or her lifetime—and can even affect future generations.

ESCAPISM ‘ PLAYSCAPE ’ aim is to create a fun, safe playscape for children who had experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) to heal from the damage caused to their confidence, self-esteem, social skills, and cognitive abilities. The children will gain more skills through a series of discoveries. The center is designed as a collaborative space for children with different social classes and backgrounds to come together, develop, and Encourage children's creativity, uniqueness and personality.
