The whole mezzanine floor contains only 3 main elements and the viewing deck in this picture is one of them. Main design element of this viewing deck is the arches. While giving a sense of classic, it’s like clean and minimalist without unnecessary ornaments or decorations. Visitors can have different vantage view of the whole space and walk around or rest to enjoy the peaceful moment
The funeral hall area is inspired by victorian garden, it is a glasshouse-like funeral hall with simple seating and subtle linear lighting. The greenery at the back is a backdrop of the hall, it also opens to the central garden in the middle. While enjoying the scenery outside and inside, the frosted glass provides privacy to users in the hall but do not obstructing the transmission of light

Project Introduction
Death, Dawn, Lily is the first funeral center which provides human composting services. By adopting a new way of sending off the loved one, the dead will never leave us but turning into a new form of life - the soil and the lily.
The whole building aims to blend itself into the nature while giving a sense of holiness. Trees and lilies are abundant in the building, plenty of openings ensure the good ventilation and source of light, and further helps to minimize the usage of utilities.
Eventually, the lilies will prosper and spread all over the vicinity and make Death, Dawn, Lily a park-like graveyard.

COMPOSTING POD
The composting pod is designed according to gear wheel as it needs to be rotated regularly during the composting process. Main colors in this area are white, grey copper and gold. Seats are provided at one side for the family and friends to take their time until they are ready to send off their loved one. Main design element in this composting pod is arches with minimal decorative detail- the lily logo.
